NCERT MOOCs on SWAYAM

About NCERT MOOCs- The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an autonomous organisation set up in 1961 by the Government of India to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on policies and programs for qualitative improvement in school education.

The NCERT has been nominated as National level agency to develop Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for school Education by MoE, GoI and disseminate these courses through “SWAYAM” (Study Webs of Active- Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) portal and app, which are accessible at http://swayam.gov.in/. NCERT will be developing courses for Class IX to XII in phased manner.

States/ UTs can adopt/ adapt/ customise and use these MOOCs at the state level in the state portals as well. NCERT will be thriving to reach the students through these courses to enrich them to achieve the learning outcome. Do join us to access such online courses and enrich your intellectual horizon.
