EduSat Studio

An independent TV studio, at first floor, is functioning for video conferencing.Three mini camera setup has been established in this studio. The whole system is controlled through adjacent control room.

CIET as a premium technology institute in the field of ICT and technology is conduting training programmes for teachers and teacher educators from all over the country through video conferencing mode to fulfill the vision of digital India (skill, scale & speed). All these training programme had been carried out with a Satellite based EDUSAT network from it’s inception with the active support of DECU, ISRO with one Teaching End at CIET, NCERT and 100 Class Rooms all over India.

Over the period of time and due to some technical snag developed in the Hub and it’s repair maintenance cost the EDUSAT Network is stopped functioning and these training programmes were carried out sometimes with face to face mode and some times with internet connectivity.

During the pandemic times the requirement of Satellite based robust network felt very badly hence CIET is reviving Satellite based network again to train the Teachers and Teacher Educators and in coordination with ISRO Banglore to whch they agreed to supprt CIET-NCERT.

In this regard centers list and list of peripherals to be installed at remote Centers are prepared and shared with ISRO. Initially the network will start with one Teaching End at CIET and 40 Class Rooms which will go up to 1000 Class Rooms at district level to cater the educational need of country.
